4. Which RaptorX scanning mode provides the highest detail?

For maximum detail, use the 7 parallel blue laser line mode. It is particularly suitable for small objects, intricate surfaces, sharp edges, and areas where fine geometric detail is important.

5. Can the RaptorX scan black or metal objects?

Yes. The RaptorX's blue laser technology is designed to scan many dark, black, and metallic surfaces without scanning spray. However, highly reflective, mirror-like, or transparent surfaces may still require scanning spray for the best results.

6. Does the Creality RaptorX require markers?

It depends on the scanning mode. Blue laser scanning requires reflective markers for tracking, while NIR structured-light scanning can often work without markers when the object has sufficient geometric or surface features. Markers can also be used in NIR mode to improve tracking on smooth or featureless objects.

7. What size objects can the RaptorX scan?

The RaptorX supports a very wide range of object sizes. In blue laser mode, it can scan objects as small as approximately 5 × 5 × 5 mm, while its overall scanning capability extends to objects up to approximately 4000 × 4000 × 4000 mm.

Yes. The 34 cross blue laser line mode is designed for fast scanning of medium and large objects, making the RaptorX suitable for automotive applications including complete vehicles, body panels, dashboards, bumpers, mechanical components, and other large parts.

Yes. The RaptorX's NIR structured-light mode is suitable for scanning faces and human bodies. It supports marker-free scanning and is designed to capture organic shapes efficiently.

Yes. The RaptorX supports wireless scanning through the Scan Bridge wireless scanning handle. It uses 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 for wireless data transmission, giving you greater freedom of movement when scanning large objects.
