Great out of the box, only had to check for any loose screws and follow the setup guide and then adjust bed level 3-4 times but the screen really helped visualise the process, the toolhead is a little slanted to the right which is concerning mildly but overall great printer with good instructions and plenty of set up videos online.
I like the sprite toolhead assembly a lot compared to the original ender3 and ender3 direct drive toolhead assembly strong fast and light
For anyone else wondering yes the S1 and the S1x are the same just been updated to be accurate at 200mm print speed
Can be a second printer or a new entry if helped or competent enough to research any issues you may encounter in advance, I agree with the 96% pre-assembled statement and for £139 it’s a great value and highly recommended

Great first 3D printer, after some initial buyers remorse I was thankful that this printer was infact really good, little bit of fiddling to set it up but followed the instructions and away it went, no problems.

I never had any problems with creality my S1 3 printer prints nice and easy to add the laser not tried the sonic pad yet they are bringing out some nice printers at the minute.
